Representing the Cannabis Industry to the Banking Industry and the Credit Union
NCIA’s Bethany Moore speaks with Mark Goldfogel, the Executive Vice President for The Fourth Corner Credit Union about Representing the Cannabis Industry to the Banking Industry and the Credit Union.
In 2010, Mark first proposed “Seed to Sale” tracking to the State of Colorado as a paradigm for diversion control and health and human safety. Mark co-founded MJ Freeway, the cannabis industry’s first “Seed to Sale” point of sale system and in 2013 sold it to become CEO and co-founder of C4EverSystems, the industry’s first cash management system. Mark currently is the EVP of Industry Relations for The Fourth Corner Credit Union, the first state-chartered institution whose field of membership includes people and businesses with a common interest in cannabis and hemp. The credit union is currently in a lawsuit demanding equal access to the payment system for cannabis supporters. Mark is a published author of Smoking Something – The Cannabis Paradox and is a speaker and industry expert. Mark consults with startups on marketing, compliance, branding and financial matters at his company IWorkForCannabis.com.
