In 2010, Mark first proposed “Seed to Sale” tracking to the State of Colorado as a paradigm for diversion control and health and human safety. Mark co-founded MJ Freeway, the cannabis industry’s first “Seed to Sale” point of sale system and in 2013 sold it to become CEO and co-founder of C4EverSystems, the industry’s first cash management system. Mark currently is the EVP of Industry Relations for The Fourth Corner Credit Union, the first state-chartered institution whose field of membership includes people and businesses with a common interest in cannabis and hemp. The credit union is currently in a lawsuit demanding equal access to the payment system for cannabis supporters. Mark is a published author of Smoking Something – The Cannabis Paradox and is a speaker and industry expert. Mark consults with startups on marketing, compliance, branding and financial matters at his company IWorkForCannabis.com.
