Veterans Fight For Cannabis Reform

Kyle Kushman talks with Al Byrne, Navy Veteran and former NORML Executive Director, about veterans fighting for cannabis reform.  Al tells about his personal experience with cannabis and how it helped him decide to become a leader for the cause of cannabis education and legalization.  Kyle and Al also touch on cannabis and PTSD, and their thoughts on the legalization of medical marijuana.

Byrne co-founded Patients Out of Time in 1995 – the organization’s mission was and is to educate health care professionals and the public about therapeutic cannabis. As a veteran, Al has seen the successes cannabis treatment has had on many fellow vets which keeps him motivated to continue the fight for cannabis reform.

Byrne is also on the advisory board of Veterans for Medical Cannabis Access
